What NDIS participants are saying:
“My dream has finally come true, all I wanted was to stay at AGAPI” George stated.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a national scheme designed to improve disability services in Australia. The NDIS supports people with a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to take part in everyday activities.
The NDIS will enable you to pay for supports that may help you achieve your goals in many aspects of your life, including independence, involvement in your community, education, employment and health and wellbeing.
The NDIS gives you more choice and control over how, when and where your supports are provided, and gives you certainty you will receive the support you need over your lifetime.
For more information on the NDIS you can visit the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) website at www.ndis.gov.au or call 1800 800 110.
To find out if you are eligible, please check the ‘NDIS Access Checklist’ on the NDIS website www.ndis.gov.au or call the NDIA on 1800 800 110. NOTE: If you live outside the NDIS trial sites your existing funding and level of support will remain in place until the NDIS is introduced to your area.
If you have any questions, or would like to arrange a meeting and have someone speak with you about the NDIS please contact Angela Pilipasidis
